“I happened to be visiting a friend one day and looked across the street to see this beautiful home in perfect light. I thought it was a perfect little home and would make for a wonderful painting. All I needed to do was pick the weeds, rearrange the landscaping, paint the place a different color and fix the cracks in the driveway. Of course it’s much easier to do this on the canvas than in real life. I love my job.” -Kenton Nelson
A portion of the proceeds from sales of this print will be donated to The Maritime Museum of San Diego. Kenton’s daughter has volunteered, actually working on the ships, as part of the “crew” at the museum for the last two years.
